They are commonly used in applications where structural support, reinforcement, or alignment is required.

Rods can be used as sealing elements in manufacturing and constructions and to create a barrier against dust or moisture. Rods are mostly made of rigid and semi rigid PVC. Welts are made as cylindrical or solid circular profiles and as a single welt with one raised edge or double welting. They are used in applications that require sealing, cushioning and padding to protect against wear and tear.

Mostly, they are used in furniture and automotive industry as decorative trim or edging on upholstery. Welts are made of Flexible PVC.
